Renee D. Kehn, 57, of Springboro, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born October 13, 1959, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John Donald Ortmann Sr. and Mary Esther Myers.
She was a 1977 graduate of Linesville High School. She was a lifelong dairy farmer on her family farm.
Renee was of the Catholic faith.
She had a fondness for astrology and horoscopes. Renee loved animals and being outdoors enjoying nature.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Esther Ortmann of Linesville; four children, Conrad Kehn of Butler, Ohio, Danny Kehn and his wife, Erin, of Butler, Ohio, Ronda Kehn of Conneautville, and Derek Kehn of Springboro; a granddaughter who she adored, Rylee Kehn; a sister, Becky Miller and her husband, Gary, of Linesville; a brother, Christopher Scott Ortmann and his wife, Marcie, of Butler, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Donald Ortmann Sr.; a brother, John Donald Ortmann Jr.; and a nephew, Brandon Ortmann.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Chris Hamlett of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church officiating.
Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
The family suggests, memorial contributions may be made in Renee’s name to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, Pa 16335.
The family would like to honor and thank the staff at the Yolanda Barco Center for the care and kindness they provided for Renee.
