William (Bill) Lynn Obituary

        William E. Lynn, 82, of Linesville, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at his residence after a period of declining health. 

        He was born May 12, 1937, at home in Greenwood Township, to Clarence and Madge (Armour) Lynn.  On November 20, 2004, he married Karen Phelps, who survives. 

        He was a 1955 graduate of Meadville High School.  Bill owned and operated Allegheny Tool Inc., in Meadville, for 39 years and retired in 2018. 

        He was a member of the Linesville First Baptist Church.  He had a love for bowling and was a member of the Crawford County and Pennsylvania State Bowling Hall of Fames.  Bill was an avid golfer and loved his dogs.  Most of all he cherished his family.   

        In addition to his loving wife, Karen Lynn, he is survived by his son James Lynn and his wife, Amy; step-sons, James Zarembinski and his wife, Laura, Donnie Zarembinski and his wife, Amanda, and Jason Easler and his wife, Amanda; a step-daughter, Karen Baldesberger and her husband, Robert; 10 grandchildren, John Pittenger and his wife, Grace, and their two children, Gabriel and Sullivan, Richard Pittenger and his wife, Larissa, and their two children, Brayden and Carter, Corey and Jordan Lynn, Keyera and Kristian Zarembinski, Ben and Karson Easler, Paige Cannon,  and Connor Doeberiener; his sister, Linda Lewis of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Ron Lynn and his wife, Geri, of Meadville; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

        He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Becky Marie Lynn Pittenger Sherrod; his first wife, Doris Perry Lynn; and a brother, Richard Lynn. 

        Calling will be on Friday, May 8, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Linesville First Baptist Church, 6114 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.  Strict CDC guidelines will be followed. 

        A private funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Linesville First Baptist Church. 

        Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg.

        In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Linesville First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 387, Linesville, Pa 16424.
