Wayne "Ted" Park Obituary

        Wayne (Ted) H. Park, 73, of Espyville, Pennsylvania, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at his residence, after a courageous battle with COPD and cancer. 

        Born August 27, 1946, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, he was the son of Harold (Ted) and Hazel (Bicky) Nagle Park.  He married Pauline (Ruth) Stewart on July 28, 1984 at their home is Rochester, Pennsylvania. 

        He attended Rochester High School.  Ted then served in the United States Marines from 1964 until 1968 during Vietnam and was awarded two Purple Hearts.  He served in the Charlie Company 1st Battalion 9th Marines Walking Dead Division. 

        For 17 years, Ted worked for Ford Motor Company in California.  He then worked at the Air Force Base in Pittsburgh and was transferred to Tobyhanna Army Base in the Poconos were he retired. 

        Ted was a lifelong Veterans of Foreign Wars member.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting. 

        Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Pauline (Ruth) Park of Espyville; two sons, Kenneth Park of New Brighton and Scott Park of Darlington; a daughter, Christie (Park) Bogolea and her husband, Dwayne, of New Brighton; four grandchildren, Diana Duncan, Tiffany Duncan, James Duncan and Scotty Park; a great-grandson, Gabriel Duncan; and a brother, Ron Park and his wife, Kathy, of Beaver. 

        He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Darren Park.      

        Services will be held by the family at a later date. 

        Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville, PA 16424.
