Obituary

     Wallace D. Blair, 74, of Linesville, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Marquette Hospice House in Meadville. 

     Born December 29, 1946, in Geneva, he was the son of Elwin and Mary (Gaughenbaugh) Blair.

     Wallace served our country in the United States Army from 1964 until he was honorably discharged in 1967. 

     In 1968, he started working for Greenville Steel Car as a Welder.  He was a member of the Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club, the American Legion Post 462 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7842 all in Linesville. 

     Survivors include two children, Danielle Blair of Jacksonville, Florida and Jason Blair of Erie; a granddaughter, Kelsey Curlowicz of Jacksonville, Florida; a sister, Yvonne Krueger of Sun City, Arizona; and a brother, Marion Blair and of Linesville. 

     He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Elwin Blair, Newell Blair and Marvin Blair.

     As per his request, cremation was chosen and no services will be held. 

     Arrangements are under the care of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
