Victoria Marie (Mrozek) Laycock

     Victoria Marie Laycock passed peacefully on July 15, 2023, at Austinburg Nursing Home where she had resided for the last several years.

     She was born in Baden, PA December 20th, 1924, to Joseph and Marie (Swenic) Mrozek, who had immigrated from Poland.

     Victoria enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, canning, jigsaw puzzles, and word search. But, most of all she enjoyed spending time with family. She loved Jesus and her church, Cherry Valley Nazarene.

     Victoria is survived by four daughters Dee Hawk Artman, (Reverend Lyle Artman), Barbara Hawk Oates, Vickie Hawk Braden, (Roger Braden), Karol Hawk Conine, (Russell Conine). Also, she had 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and many step-grandchildren.

     Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Lonnie L. Hawk and her second husband of 12 years, Boyd Laycock along with 5 brothers and sisters and 3 stepchildren.

     A memorial service will be held at the Cherry Valley Church of the Nazarene on October 21, 2023. Calling hours will be at 10:00 AM with a memorial service at 11:00 AM; a graveside committal will immediately follow the memorial service. All are invited to join the family for dinner at the Cherry Valley Church following the interment.
