Thomas Edward Hepler Jr., 80, of Linesville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at his residence.
Born March 7, 1941, in Butler, he was the son of Thomas Sr. and Martha (Brown) Hepler. He married Peggy “Sis” Daniels on January 16, 1960.
He worked at Channellock for 18 years. He then worked for 30 years for James Drilling until he retired.
He was a member of the Pymatuning Sportsman Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7842 both of Linesville.
In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and swimming. The past few years, he enjoyed hanging out at the Pymatuning Sportsmans Club with his brother, Kenny, and made some great friends at the club. To his best friend, Carl Floor, he enjoyed whatever you wanted to do, split wood, go for a ride or hang out by the fire.
He was always willing to help anyone with a heart of gold. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Survivors include a son, Robert (Becky) Hepler of Conneautville; a daughter, Deborah Bolharsky, of Linesville; six grandchildren, Jodi (Dan) Ward, Tara (Riley) Buszek, Tina VanGorder (Partner Kevin), James Hepler, Tony (Virginia) Hepler, Dawn (Patrick) Holter; 10 great-grandchildren, Madison, Juels, Riley, Serenity, Bradlee, Weslee, Eleena, Joe, Enricco and Grayson; brother, Kenneth (Ellen) Hepler of Erie; a sister, Linda (Bernie) Frohne of Edinboro; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and an infant sister.
A celebration of his life will be held at noon on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Pymatuning Sportsman's Club, 3642 W. Erie Street, Linesville. Visitation and sharing memories will follow until 2 p.m.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.
