Ronald (John) Glenn Blood

     Ronald (John) Glenn Blood, 72, of Springboro, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at his residence. 

     Born May 13, 1950, in Beaver Center, he was the son of William and Dorothy (Adams) Blood. 

     John graduated from Conneaut Valley High School in 1968.  He retired from General Electric after 35 years. 

     John spent his retirement years working on his tractors and was always ready to help his family and friends in any way he could.

     Survivors include his son, Billy Blood; step-children, Paul (Theressa) Miller, Matt (Sabrina) Miller, Kim (Randy) Fredricks and Tim Miller; grandchildren, Anthony Garlick, Makayla Miller, Chad Miller, J.J. Miller and Katie Miller; a great-grandson, Paxton Miller; a brother, Russell (Suzanne) Blood; and many nieces and nephews. 

     He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald, Dale, Clinton, Gerald and Jim Blood; and a sister, Leona Vobrak. 

     The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.

     A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Chris McLaughlin, of the Linesville First Baptist Church, officiating.

     Private burial will be in Beaver Center Cemetery.
