Roger A. Shelatz

     Roger A. Shelatz, 71, of Conneaut Lake, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. 

     Born December 20, 1951, he was the son of John G. Shelatz and Thelma Mae Nelson.  He married Elaine Helch on December 31, 1983. 

     Roger was a heavy equipment operator for nearly 40 years.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

     Roger is survived by his four children, Dawnielle Brewster of Quinton, Virginia, Roberta Quail of Conneaut Lake, Michael Quail of Conneaut Lake and John Shelatz and his wife, Jaime, of Linesville; a brother, Barry Shelatz and his wife, Terri, of Conneaut Lake; a sister, Carol Pearson and her husband, Al, of Conneaut Lake; eight grandchildren, Jade, Coleton, Jasmine, Rider, Roper, Brody, Danica and Jase; and many nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; parents, John and Thelma; two brothers, Richard and David; and a granddaughter, Myla Elizabeth. 

     A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.

     Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville.
