Raymond Browning Obituary

 

       Raymond C. Browning, 64, of Linesville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at his residence. 

      Born October 21, 1955, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of R.B. and Arlene (Calhoun) Browning.  He married Carol Farley on May 19, 1979. 

      Ray had attended Saegertown High School.  He retired from Giant Eagle in Meadville.  He currently was working for Granda Janitorial Services. 

      He was a member of the Pymatuning Sportsmen’s Club in Linesville.  Ray enjoyed gardening, fishing, bowling and traveling.  He loved sports, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and was a NASCAR enthusiast.   

      Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Carol Browning; a son, Jason Farley and his wife, Rose; two grandsons, Jacob Farley and Josh Kreider; a sister, Diana Williams and her husband, Rickey; a brother, Ken Frederick and his wife, Julie; and many nieces and nephews.

      He was preceded in death by his father, R.B. Browning; mother, Arlene Bostian; grandparents, Viola and Austin Calhoun; and an uncle, Bruce Calhoun.   

      Calling hours will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.  A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Smith of the Linesville First Baptist Church officiating.   

      Burial will be private in Linesville Cemetery.

      Memorial contributions may be made to the Linesville Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 55, Linesville, Pa 16424.
