Patty Jean Hoegerl, 58, of Linesville, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021, surrounded by her family, at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
She was born November 9, 1962 in Meadville. Patty was a graduate of Harmony High School. She earned a degree as a nail technician and owned American Nail Salon for almost 20 years. She also worked many years in home healthcare.
Patty attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Linesville. She loved cooking for friends and family and boy could she cook. She enjoyed her summers at the beach with her boys and spent many vacations at Disney. Patty enjoyed bowling and made many lifelong friends from it. She also enjoyed her time on the boat and loved spoiling her grandchildren. Over the years, she had hosted five foreign exchange students.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Richard (Dick) Hoegerl; mother, Nancy (Seibold) Cooper; three sons, Steven Hoegerl and his wife, Anna, Quentin Hoegerl and Aaron Hoegerl; step-son, Mark Hoegerl; two granddaughters, Ellie and Josie Hoegerl; two sisters, Diane Taylor and her husband, Larry, and Susan Shaffer and her husband, Cory; two brothers, Shawn Cooper and his wife, Rose, and Jamie Cooper and his wife, Shelly; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by father, James Cooper; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Rose Hoegerl; birth father, Fred McQuiston; and brother, David McQuiston.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 until 5 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Burial will be private at Lakeview Cemetery in Conneaut Lake.
