Marilyn (Moe) Dressel Day Obituary

     Marilyn (Moe) Dressel Day age 92, of Naples, Florida died, Thursday, July 14, 2022.  Born in Pittsburgh, Pa on June 26, 1930 to the late John and Mary Amann.  She married Urban L Dressel on June 20, 1954, he preceded her in death on January 23, 1994.  She subsequently married Robert Day in 2008.  He preceded her in death in 2014.  In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her sister Mildred Eremic in 2018.

     Mrs. Dressel spent most of her career teaching kindergarten and second grade at Summit Elementary and Alice Schafer Elementary in the Conneaut School District.   

     Upon her retirement, she spent many happy years in Sebring, Florida where she enjoyed golf, line dancing, water aerobics, poker club, wine time and just about any activity offered in her community. She relocated to Naples, Florida earlier this year.

     She is survived by her three children; Michele Shepherd (Kai) of South Bend, Indiana, Dan Dressel (Carol) of Malvern, PA, and Marilyn “Susy” Dressel (Greg) of Mercer, PA.  Moe has three grandchildren; Emily Shepherd, Ryan Dressel, Steve Dressel and several great-grandchildren.

     A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church, 401 S. Mercer St, Linesville, Pa.  Family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be at the St. Philip cemetery.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Royal-Coleman funeral home of Linesville, PA.
