Joy Marie (Manzi) Schmidt

     Joy Marie Schmidt, 90, of Linesville, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at her residence. 

     Born June 10, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of William and Verlie (Dean) Manzi. 

     Joy worked as a press operator for Molded Fiber Glass in Linesville for 17 years and retired in 1992. 

     She was a member of the Linesville First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls and spending time with her family. You could always find her outdoors, mowing, raking leaves, shoveling snow, and helping on the farm.

     Survivors include four children, Henry G. Schmidt Jr. (Nadina) of The Philippines, Darlene Marie Reynolds of Linesville, Michael W. Schmidt of Conneautville and Jeffrey R. Schmidt (Mary) of Conneautville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Kenneth A. Reynolds.  

     A private graveside service will be held at Linesville Cemetery with Pastor Terry Smith of the Linesville First Baptist Church officiating.
