Jack D. Reynolds

     Jack D. Reynolds, 87, of Linesville, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the Meadville Medical Center. 

     Born December 16, 1934, in Linesville, he was the son of Carl and Pauline (Hoover) Reynolds.  He married Betty Rose Rubcic on May 29, 1958.  She preceded him in death on January 18, 2010. 

     He was a graduate of Linesville High School in 1952.  For 68 years, Jack worked as a heavy equipment operator with the District 5 Local 66 Union.

     He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger years.  He loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.   

     Survivors include three daughters, Janet Irwin, Terry Benfield and Laura Kennedy (James) all of Linesville; four grandsons, Nick, Adam (Christie), Cody (Caitlyn), and Jack (Cierra); one great-granddaughter, Sydney; three sisters, Eileen Koehler (Richard), Shirley Rooney (Don) and Judy Sickles (Richard); a brother, Joe Reynolds (Patricia); and many nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; five brothers, Edward, John, Tom, Duane and William Reynolds; and a sister, Nata Salo. 

     As per his request, cremation was chosen a graveside service will be held in Penn Line Cemetery at a later date. 

     Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
