Frederick (Fred or Fritz) H. Gilliland

     Frederick H. (Fred or Fritz) Gilliland Jr., 51, of Linesville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at UPMC Hamot in Erie. 

     Born August 9, 1970, in Greenville, he was the son of Frederick Sr. and Margaret (Gray) Gilliland. 

     He worked as a welder and fabricator.  Most of all, Fred loved riding his motorcycle.  In his spare time, he enjoyed doing metal art.  He loved his dogs, especially Peanut. 

     Survivors include his fiancée, Deanna Buzzard of Linesville; a brother, Gene Gilliland and his wife, Kate of Linesville; a sister, Lynn Lewandowski of North Canton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.    

     He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Aaron Lewandowski.

     The family will have a motorcycle ride in Fred’s honor at a later date.

     His final act was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
