Cynthia (Cindy) Good Obituary

Cynthia (Cindy) Lou Good, 67, of Adamsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at UPMC Hamot in Erie.  Her strong faith helped her as she had battled cancer for over seven years.

Born June 7, 1952, in Titusville, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Marge (Ohrn) Brown.  She married Donald Good on June 1, 1973, in Enterprise, Pennsylvania.

Cindy retired, after 45 years, as a registered nurse at UPMC Horizon in Greenville.

She was a member of the Fallowfield United Methodist Church.  She always had a positive attitude and looked for ways to help and inspire others.

Cindy enjoyed gardening, canning, baking (including pie bakes for her church's booth at the Crawford County Fair), reading, bowling, card club, and traveling (especially cruises).  She loved spending time with family and friends, and especially cherished her grandchildren.

Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Donald Good; two daughters, Michiele Anthony and her husband, Scott, of Soldotna, Alaska; Lisa Good of Adamsville; her grandchildren, Kasey & Jake Jensen of Florida, Jeremy Newhard of Meadville, Grant Anthony of Meadville;  two sisters, Linda Chambers and her husband, Ken, of Punxsutawney, and Carol Davis and her husband, Gary, of Fertigs; her sister-in-law, Rhonda Brown of Enterprise; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Tim Brown; and a granddaughter Jessica Newhard.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.

A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. Saturday with her sister, Linda Chambers, officiating.

Burial will be in Hadley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fallowfield United Methodist Church, 3993 Leach Rd., Atlantic, Pa 16111 or the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
