Chester Paul Obituary

        Chester S. Paul went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 14, 2020, surrounded by his family.

        Chet was born on November 16, 1941 in Cherry Valley, Oh., to Chet and Mary Paul.

        He married Catherine “Butch” Heath on Oct. 26, 1959, they spent 53 years together until her passing in April 2012.On July 2, 2013 he married Mary Wing, she has been an amazing support to both him and to our family.

        Chet was a long-time resident of both Andover, Oh. and Jamestown, Pa. Chet was a talented machinist and enjoyed injection molding. He was the Plant Manager at C&J Industries, Meadville, Pa., retiring in 2003.

        Chet enjoyed golfing with his sons and grandsons, camping, bicycling, wood working, and working in his yard. He especially loved spending time with his family when they came to visit. He loved their dog Becky. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan.  

        Chet leaves behind his wife Mary, of Jamestown, Pa., his children  Randy ( Linda) Cole of Ashtabula, Oh., Chet Jr. (Christy) Paul of Andover, Oh., Cindy (Ricky) McCowien of Pierpont, Oh., Carrie (Rick) Fischer of Meadville, Pa., and Chris (Chandra) Paul of Conneaut Lake, Pa. 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great-grandchildren. 2 Brothers David & Norman Paul, 2 sisters, Veronica Wessell and Debbie Waldron, and several nieces and nephews.

        He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and 2 brothers Joseph and Daniel.

        Cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 1 at the Linesville First Baptist Church, 6114 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville with Pastor Terry Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10 until 11 a.m.
