Charles McCusker Obituary

     Charles (Chuck) Byron McCusker of Rolling Fields Elder Care in Conneautville, formerly of Linesville, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.  He was 73, just celebrating his birthday on March 22. 

     He was the son of Charles and Evelyn (Senneway) McCusker and was born in Allegheny County, near Pittsburgh. 

     He was raised in the Catholic Church but had recently attended Linesville First Baptist Church. 

     Chuck served eight years in the Air Force in California during the Vietnam War. 

     One of his most recent jobs was at Tel-O-Post in Linesville where he met his future wife, Janet (Marr) Hart and they were married on August 16, 2002. 

     Chuck’s hobbies included cooking (especially Mexican food) watching and playing golf, bowling, fishing, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates (Bucs) play.  He loved rock music and Free Bird was his favorite song.  Chuck loved animals especially their many cats.  He loved making people laugh and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. 

     Chuck is survived by his wife, Janet McCusker; a sister, Carol (David) Mona of Meadville; three step-daughters, Carrie (Casey) Miller of Guys Mills, Pennsylvania, Jennifer (Donnie) Phillips of Visalia, California, and Linda (Mark) Lasher of Bangor, Pennsylvania; seven step-grandchildren, Cale, Cathryn and Chase Miller, Hana and Emma Phillips, and Katie and Derek Lasher; and several nieces and nephews. 

     He was preceded in death by his parents. 

     As per Chuck’s wishes, cremation will take place.  Private funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18 at the Linesville First Baptist Church, 6114 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.  

     The family would like to thank Rolling Fields Elder Care for the exceptional care he received.

     Arrangements are under the care of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
