Betty J. (Oswald) Godsave

     Betty J. Godsave, 83, of Linesville passed away on April 20, 2022, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville. 

     Born July 2, 1938, in Linesville, she was the daughter of Martin and Helen (Lord) Oswald.  She was a loving and devoted homemaker.  She married Robert T. Godsave Jr. on January 26, 1957 and he preceded her in death on October 29, 2000. 

     Survivors include a daughter, Linda Crider and her husband, Paul, of Linesville, two sons, Scott Godsave and his companion, Carol Ann Steighner, of Linesville and George Godsave and his wife, Tomma, of Linesville; four grandchildren, Paul Crider Jr. and his wife, Bethany, Stephen Crider and his wife, Shelby, Tiffany Weber and her husband, Doug, and Dennis Dibble and his wife, Crystal; four great-grandchildren, Peyton, Paige, Brynleigh and Camdyn Crider; and a brother, Carl Oswald of Meadville. 

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Brenda Huffman and her husband, James; and sister, Patricia Chapin.

     Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.

     The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. 

     Burial will be private in Linesville Cemetery.

     The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of Crawford County, 766 Liberty St., Meadville, Pa  16335.
