Allan Tenney

     Allan Tenney, 81, of Linesville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at his residence. 

     Born May 12, 1939, he was the son of the late Francis and Rose Tenney.  He married Mary Ellen Shoup on October 15, 1960 in Pitcairn.  She preceded him in death on November 16, 2010.  

     Allan was employed as a mechanic by trade but was also a skilled and talented craftsman and mentor. 

     He leaves behind and was the beloved father of Donna Tenney of Bethel Park, Carole McHenry of New Kensington and David Tenney of McKeesport; grandfather of Michael Tenney, Tina McHenry, Alissa Tenney, Alison Tenney, Jayna Tenney and Luke Webb; and many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. 

     He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a grandson, Ronald McHenry; and a brother, Charles Tenney.

     As per his request, services will be private at the convenience of the family.     

     In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeland Senior Center, P.O. Box 934, Linesville, Pa 16424.

     Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
