Willie Lee Cats, 70, of Linesville, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011, at his residence
Born May 31, 1941 in Glendora, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Oscar St. and Mary Ellen Unions Care. He was a graduate of East Figh School in Erie, Willie served our country in the US. Army dusing the Vietnam Was. He worked asa long distance truck driver and a construction worker.
Willie was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars and anything with an engine.
Survivors include his wife Susan L. (Albaugh) Carr; 3 sons, Tony Carr, Willie Jr. Carr, and George Carr; 6 daughters, Demitta Carr Moore, Portia Bibes, Dana Woodson, Rae Aan Jaycox, Malinda Carr, Abagale M. M. Carr; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Johnnie Bryant, Hattie Johnson, Evelyn Cars, Diane McQueen, Marilyn Cole and her husband, Rev. Michael Cole, all of Erie; 7 brothers, Oscar Carr Jr., and Robert Lockett of Phoenix, Arizona, Asthur T. Cacs, Andre Cacr and his wife, Cindy, .C. Corder, Donald Ginnery, and James Pasker all of Erie; his stepmother, Ruby (Parker) Care; an uncle Elder Feltcher Care Se. and his wife, Luella; and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lolita A. Carr Flemings; a son, Tyrome Carr; 2 sisters, Barbara Grayson and Georgia Corder; 2 brothers, Bddie G. Care and Richard Lockett.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family
