William (Bill) Dana Davis

     William Dana Davis, 89, of Meadville, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Born May 8, 1937, in San Antonio, Texas, he was the son of Robert and Isabel (Lockard) Davis.

     For 37 years, Bill worked for Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad. He served on the Crawford County Fair board for over 30 years and had served as president for two years. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and having his stagecoach that he drove in parades.

     He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Donna Austin Davis; three sons, Bill (Cathy) Davis, Bob (Debi) Davis and Kelly (Patti) Davis; daughter-in-law, Michele Davis; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Carol Haines and Ruth Sybrant.

     He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Dana Alan Davis.

     Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

     Arrangements are under the care of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
