Warren Frances (Skip) Love

Warren Frances (Skip) Love, 82, of 16183 Phelps Road, Linesville, died Sunday October 10, 2010 at his home.
Born October 14, 1927 in Titusville, he was the only child of Warren Allen and Gladys Francis Love. He graduated from Colestock High School Class of 1945 and then joined the Army.
After being discharged he worked in distillation in Cities Service refinery and then used his GI schooling to study agriculture. In 1953, he purchased the Crumb and Barber farms and established the Pyma-Love Farm. In 1956, he built the first all electric home on NWREC. He was voted Outstanding Young Farmer of Crawford County in 1961 and was cated thied in the state competition.
an elder in the Linesville Presbyterian Church. He had served on LCS Joint School Authority and on the Board at Drake Well in Titusville. Waeren was a long time member of National EAA and had served as treasurer of Meadville EAA, 1194, and was a member of the Allegheny Chapter of Antique and Classic Boats. While a student in high school he built his first wooden boat and earned his flying licenses. Hlis interest in flying and restoring wooden boats continued through his life. In 1989, he retired from Hanson in Ashtabula, Ohio, and continued his hobbies and helping his son George on the family farm.
Pvt. Love married Shirley Lou Eldred on May 6, 1946 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She survives along with two sons, George M. Love and his wife, Geula, and Warren J. Love and his fiancée Shannon Post all of Linesville; four grandchildren, Laura Buckel of Linesville, Warren C. Love and his wife, Lyndsey, of Pittsburgh, Holly Love Shepard and her husband, P. David, of Jacksonville, North Carolina and George Garrett Love and his wife, Natalie, both
ationed at Air Force Field in Savannah, Georgia; three great-grandchildren, Paul David Shepard of North Carolina Warren (Xander) Love and Lylliana Love both of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by several cousins, including Sandra Rosenbaum of Titusville, Fanneil Barber of Union City and Theodora Rancourt of Gainesville, Florida, who was like a sister to him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, LuAnn. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family, with burial in Penn Line Cemetery.
