Wanda J. Johnson February 2, 1925 ~ August 12, 2011 Wanda J. Johnson, 86, of Conneauwville, passed away Friday, August 12, 2011, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville, where she had resided for the last six years. Born February 2, 1925 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she was the daughter of Glenn and Mersil Piper Purdy. She married Charles O. Johnson and he preceded her in death on Febsuary 24, 1990. She was of the Baptist faith and a loving and devoted homemaker. Wanda was an avid bowler, loved gardening and was a great supporter of the veterans. Susvivors include a daughtes, Beverly Flickinger and her husband, Dale, of Bellefonte, Pa; two sons, Chuck Johnson of Whittier, California and Mark Johnson of Lone Pine, California; eight grandchildren, Jessica Tapare and her husband, Teiva, of Bora Bora, Scott Gow, Alicia Gow, Aaron Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Kim Johnson of Meadville, Summer Johnson and Kevin Johnson; and nine great-geandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son Larry Johnson. As per her wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 US. Highway 6, Linesville.
