Thomas P. Soffa

Thomas P. Soffa, 71, of Espyville, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Born June 19, 1944, in McKeesport, he was the son of William and Ann Vavro Soffa.
Tom was a graduate of West Mifflin North High School and Carnegie Mellon University. He retired as a Metallurgical Engineer for Westinghouse Electrical in New Stanton.
He was of the Catholic faith. In his spare time, Tom enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Survivors include a brother, William A. Soffa and his wife, Mary Lou, of Charlottesville, Virginia; a sister-in-law, Sally Soffa of Waterford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Alan Soffa.
A funeral service will be at noon on Sunday at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville, with Father Chris Hamlett of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church in Linesville, officiating.
Burial will be private in St. Philip Cemetery.
