Thomas John Mirabito

Thomas John Mirabito, 71, of Linesville passed away, after a valiant battle with cancer, on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville.

Born January 23, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Emanuel and Angie (Mandato) Mirabito.

Tom served our country in the United States Air Force from 1968 until he was honorable discharged in 1971.

In his younger years, he worked at Tel-O-Post in Linesville and retired from Channellock in Meadville.

He was a member of the Linesville American Legion Post 462 and the Linesville VFW Post 7842.

Tommy enjoyed socializing with friends, going to camp, bowling and horseshoes.

Survivors include a son, Stephen Mirabito of Linesville; two daughters, Tomee Jo Mirabito of Pittsburgh and Erika Mirabito of Linesville; a grandson, Parker; a sister, Susan Battista and her husband, Anthony, of New York; a brother, Stephen Mirabito and his wife, Rosalie, of New York; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents

Calling hours will be on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home with Father Chris Hamlett officiating.

Burial with full military honors will be in Linesville Cemetery.
