Shirley Mae Yoder October 1, 1937 ~ April 9, 2012 Shirley Mae Yoder, 74, formerly of Sheakleyville, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012, at St. Paul’s in Greenville, where she had resided for the past six years. Born October 1, 1937 in Meadville, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. Clark and Katie (Borntreger) Huff. She married David E. Yoder Jr. on January 1, 1954; he preceded her in death in 2002. she was a loving and devoted homemaker. Shirley was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Linesville, She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Survivors include her six children, Sharon Ball and her husband, David, of Hartstown, Marilyn Thompson and her husband, Dennis, of Sheakleyville, Bonnie Sanderson and her husband, Michael, of Linesville, Elena Reinhart and her husband, Philip, of Conneautville, David Yoder and his wife, Crystal, of Atlantic, Daniel Yoder and his companion, Linda Cameron, of Sheakleyville; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Buttay and her husband, Karl, of Meadville; two half brothers, Robert and Edward Clark; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Clara Kegley, a brother, William (Billy) Clark, and three great-grandchildren Brittany, Mason, and Kaj. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 17880 Conneautville Road, Linesville, Additional calling will be Wednesday from 11 a.m, to 1 pee at the church. A funeral service will follow the calling hours on Wednesday at 1 p.m, at the church with Pastor Jonathan Wagner officiating, Burial will be in Shaw Cemetery in Linesville. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to the Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 175, Linesville, Pa 16424 or the American Cancer Society, 505 Poplar St., Suite 310, Meadville, Pa 16335. Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
