Shirley Marie Davis

     Shirley Marie Davis, 105, of Linesville passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Westmoreland Manor in Greensburg, where she had resided the last three years.

     Born December 20, 1920, in Corry, she was the daughter of Clyde and Mae (Ashurst) Jones. She married Elvry H. Davis on August 27, 1939 in Meadville. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1997.

     Shirley was a loving and devoted homemaker. She was a member of the Linesville Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, loved flowers and doing outside yard care. Shirley cherished spending time with her family. She was so loved by her whole family and will be greatly missed.

     Survivors include a daughter, Alverna Mims of Deltona, Florida; a son, C. William (Bill) Davis of Murrysville; five grandchildren, Kim (Duane) Lippincott, Jason Penfield, Amy (Brad) Wilks, Mindy LaBelle and Brandon (Monica) Davis; eight great-grandchildren, Duane, Tyler, Kellan, Tarin, Ezra, Julian, Elliot and Ruby; and many nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Stuart Penfield; and 12 siblings.

     The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 5 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Benjamin Black officiating.

     Private burial will be at Linesville Cemetery.
