Scott E. Sutliff

Scott E. Sutliff, 48, of 14081 Mill Street, Guerneville, California died Friday, December 28, 2012, at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center.

Born June 27, 1964, in Meadville, Pa. he was the son of Roland C. Sutliff and Mary A. Keeler Sutliff Whitman.

Scott had worked at various jobs traveling throughout the country and fell in love with California.

He enjoyed walking in the park, sightseeing, bird watching and spending time with his good friend Raymon Smith and their companion dogs Lord O'Doul and Lord Windsor.

Survivors include his uncles; Carl Sutliff and his wife, Karen, of Linesville, Mark Sutliff and his wife, Paula, of Saegertown and Gene Waclawik of Erie; an aunt, Dorothy Jean Gass of Meadville; four stepbrothers, Timothy Whitman and his wife, Sherri, of Cochranton, Steven Whitman of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, Mark Whitman and his wife, Joyce, of Nevada and Kenneth Whitman of Cochranton.

Roland Sutliff of Saegertown preceded him in death February 1975 and Mary Sutliff Whitman of Cochranton in March of 2011.  His stepfather James Whitman of Cochranton preceded him in death in April 2004.

Friends may call at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville, on Saturday from 1 to 3 pm.

A funeral service will follow the calling at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Art Barnes of Linesville First Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will be private in Greendale Cemetery in Meadville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Scott to the funeral home.
