Sally A. Higgins, 77, of Linesville, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2011, at the Meadville Medical Center.
Born May 27, 1934 in Meadville, she was the daughter of John and Ann Mason Hill. She married Charles J. Higgins on November 4, 1950 in Linesville; he preceded her in death on July 17, 1999,
She was of the Christian faith and a loving and devoted homemaker.
She enjoyed going to the Lakeland Senior Center in Linesville and the Williamsfield Community Center especially to play cards. Sally enjoyed writing poetry and doing crossword puzzles. She cherished spending time with her family and loved the family’s pet dog Hannah,
Survivors include two sons, Charles J. (Chip) Higgins Jc. and his wife, Julie, of Linesville and Mark J. Higgins and his wife, Debbie, of Linesville; a grandson, Dale Higgins Jz. and his wife, Kim, of Pittsburgh; a granddaughter, Katie Higgins of California; a step-granddaughter, Tracey Olenik of Andover, Ohio; a geeat-granddaughter, Lindsey Higgins; two step-great-grandchildren, Tommy and Katelyan Olenik; and a sister, Joan Donaldson of Chiefland, Florida,
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son, Dale J. Higgins.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 US. Highway 6, Linesville. The funeral service follow the calling hours on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Brumagin, of the Conneaut Lake United Methodist Church and the Meadville Medical Center Pastoral Care officiating, Burial will be private in Linesville Cemetery.
