Robert Pello

Robert (Bob) Pello, 77, of Espyville, passed away peacefully Friday, October 7, 2011, at the Meadville Medical Center.
Born May 16, 1934 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of John (Shine) and Mary Seaman Pello. He married ‘Loretta (Rita) Zablotny on May 3, 1958 at St. Adelbert’s Church in the Southside of Pittsburgh; she survives.
He served our country in the United States Air Force. He retired as a merchandiser for Thrift Drug Company.
Bob was a member of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church in Linesville. He was a member of the Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7842 both in Linesville. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating. Bob loved animals. He took pride in his home that he had built. He loved and cherished his family and was very proud of them.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Loretta (Rita) Pello; two daughters, Andrea Pello Marshall and her husband, Thomas, and Anita Pello Norris both of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Jessica DeSimone and her husband, David, David Lennon Jr. and Ashley Reiser and her husband, Philip, all of Pittsburgh; a brother, John (Bernie) Pello of Anniston, Alabama; two sisters, Betty Ford and Mary Ana Palecki of Pittsburgh; and multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
‘The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 US. Highway 6, Linesville. A memorial service will follow the calling hours on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Father John A. Walsh of St. Philip Church officiating. Following the service full military honors will be provided at the funeral home by the Huidekoper Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 2006 of Meadville.
