Norman J. Kroniser, Jr. December 24, 1946 ~ July 2, 2012
Norman J. (Pappy) Kroniser Jr., 65, of Espyville, passed away, Monday, July 2, 2012, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born December 24, 1946 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Norman J. Sr. and Margaret Nuzzo Kroniser. He married Bonnie Shoop on December 26, 1966 in Pittsburgh.
He worked as a firefighter in Pittsbur; years, Norman was a member of St. P! Catholic Church in Linevsille.
He was a member of the Linesville Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7842, Pymatuning Sportsmans Club in Linesville, Conneaut Lake Park Fire Hall, and the Conneaut Lake VED, Station 3.
Through the years, he had sponsored Line ite League basebal teams, He enjayed hunting and fishing and did everything for and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren,
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Bonnie Kroniser; a son, Marshall A. Kroniser and his wife, Lana, of Espyville; a daughter, Nicole Kroniser(Varee) of Jamestown; three grandchildren, James, Mason and Madalyn Kroniser; two sisters, Joanne Coe of Andover, Ohio and Donna Huston of Pittsburgh; a brother, Alan Kroniser and his wife, Cindy, of Pittsburgh; dear friends, Sam and Theresa Nassan of Jamestown; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m, at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville. A funeral service will 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Father Dennis Veltri, pastor of St. Philip Church officiating. Full military honors will follow the service provided by the Huidekoper Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006.
