Michael George Sanderson, 62, of Linesville, passed away, Tuesday, January 28, 2014.

Born November 28, 1951, in Meadville, he was a son of Charles and Betty Clark Sanderson.  He married Bonnie Yoder on June 26, 1976, at Calvary Baptist Church of Linesville.

Michael was a 1969 graduate of Forest City High School.  He worked as a self-employed carpenter in the construction business.  For the past 16 years, he had worked for Bruce Giering Construction of Linesville.

He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Linesville.  Michael enjoyed hunting, making maple syrup, raising chickens and loved doing woodworking.

Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Bonnie Sanderson; his father, Charles Sanderson and his wife, Arda, of Linesville; three daughters, Sommer Kohler and her husband, Rick, of Linesville, Sara Abbey and her husband, Ryan, of Leesburg, Virginia and Lindsay DeLisio and her husband, Rocco, of Youngstown, Ohio; five grandchildren, Elise and Alex Kohler, and Reagan, Ethan and Maddox Abbey; an aunt Donna Mae Giering of Linesville; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Sanderson.

Services will be private for the immediate family.

Private burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
