) Mary Ellen Tenney ~/| May 23, 1942 - November 16, 2010 Mary Ellen Tenney, 68, of Linesville, passed away November 16, 2010, at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville. Born May 23, 1942 in Pitcairn, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Harry and Alice Litzinger Shoup. She married Allan Tenney on October 15, 1960 in Pitcairn. She was of the Catholic faith and was a loving and devoted homemaker. For many years she also worked as a lab technician. She enjoyed painting, canning, and gardening, She loved quilting and sewing for different charities including Needles and Stitches and Sisters in Chsist. Survivors include her loving husband of fifty years, Allan Tenney; two daughters, Donna Tenney and Carole McHleney; a son, David Tenney; seven grandchildren; nine great-geandchildren; a sister, Teresa Adams; and a brother, Butch Shoup. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, JoAnne Shoup. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Father John A.
