Margaret A. Gilliland, 76, of Linesville, passed away Friday, May 03, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born June 28, 1936, in Corinth, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Noble Curtis and Verda Kelly Gray.  She married Frederick (Fritz) Gilliland on August 20, 1955, at South Harborcreek United Methodist Church; he preceded her in death on February 7, 2013.

Margaret was a graduate of Conneautville High School.  She worked as a retail clerk for Montomery Ward in Meadville, Rite Aid in Linesville and several other Linesville businesses.

She was a member of Linesville United Methodist Church.  Margaret was a former member of the Linesville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.

First and foremost she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed cleaning and taking care of her home and loved cooking for her family.

Survivors include two sons, Eugene Curtis Gilliland and his wife, Kate (Kathy), of Linesville and Frederick Harry Gilliland Jr. and his fiancé, Julie Biebel, of Cambridge Springs; a daughter, Lynn Ann Lewandowski and her husband, Aaron, of Meadville; five grandchildren, Travis Gilliland of Denton, Maryland, Sydney, Camaron, Olivia and Gunnar Lewandowski all of Meadville; a sister, Faith Crosby and her husband, Charlie, of Erie; a brother, Noble Gray, and his wife, Marlene, of North East; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl Gilliland and his wife, Janice, of Norrisville; and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two children, Brian Frederick and Thomas Allen Gilliland; two grandchildren, Samantha Jean and Matthew Gene; and several nephews.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville. Additional calling will be Monday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be on Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Lawton of the Linesville United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be private in Linesville Cemetery.
