Margaret L. Brace

Margaret L. Brace September 21, 1946 ~ October 28, 2011 Margaret L. Brace, 65, of Espyville, passed away, Friday, October 28, 2011, at UPMC Hamot in Erie. Born September 21, 1946 in Erie, she was the daughter of Ralph and Bonnie Green Brace. She graduated from Academy High School in Erie. For many years she was manager of Larsons Dairy Stores in Erie. She also worked for numerous shops in Exie. Margaret was of the Protestant faith. She was a member of the Russian-American Club and the American Legion Post 771 both in Erie. She had a passion for fishing and loved going fishing any time she could. Also, she enjoyed crocheting, doing embroidery, and making ceramics. Survivors include her significant other, Lewis R. Andrews of Espyville; two brothers, Edward Brace of Montana and James Brace of Erie; two sisters, Helen of Toccoa, Georgia and Beverly of Florida; good friends, Jack and Pat Hayford of Girard and Howard and Donna Phyllis of Espyville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Warren Brace. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 US. Highway 6, Linesville. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
