Leland Henderson July 22, 1946 ~ October 20, 2011 Leland Henderson, 65, of Decherd, Tennessee, formerly of Harmonsburg passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011, at his residence. He had lived in Tennessee for the last 30 years. Born July 22, 1946 in Meadville, he was the son of Robert M. Henderson who preceded him in death in 1971 and Doris (Hartzson) Newman who preceded him in death in 1986. He was of the Protestant faith. Leland had attended Linesville High School. In his younger years, he had worked on the boat docks in Conneaut Lake. He recently retired as a printer from Tennessee Business Form Paper Factory in ‘Tullahoma. Leland served our country in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War in the late 1960's. He collected moon and stars glassware and was an avid old movie watcher. He enjoyed working on cass and loved visiting family and friends. Survivors include his lifelong friends, Frank Schofield of Warren, OH, Richard Schofield of Erie and Mary Cole Campbell of Fairlawn, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Mildred Fagen. Calling hours will be Wednesday from noon to | p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville, PA. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis E. Lawton of the Harmonsburg and Linesville United Methodist Chusches officiating. Burial will be at Penn Line Cemetery in Conneaut Township with full military honors provided by the Huidekoper Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home at 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville, PA.
