Larry D. Henry

     Larry D. Henry, 77, of Linesville went home to be with his Lord and Savior, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at his residence, after a period of declining health.

     Born July 31, 1949, in Meadville, he was the son of Robert and B. Marie (Carroll) Henry. He married Linda Chieze on September 26, 1970 at the First Baptist Church of Linesville.

     Larry was a 1967 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and then graduated with an associate’s degree from Penn State University. He then served our country in the United States Marine Corps. Larry worked for forty years at PPG Industries.

     He was a lifelong active member of First Baptist Church of Linesville where served as a deacon, chairman of the trustees and on the building committee.

     Larry enjoyed traveling in his RV and camping having visited 49 states. Larry and Linda cherished there many trips with their children, grandchildren, grand dogs and other family and friends.

     Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Henry; two sons, Mike (Cindy) Henry and Greg (Dee) Henry; two grandchildren, Ben and Maddie Henry; two sisters, Sandy (Keith) Janes and Rita (Steve) Marwood; two sister-in-law’s, Shirley Trott and Judy (Tim) Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rich Henry.

     The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the First Baptist Church of Linesville, 6114 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville. A celebration of life service will follow at 5 p.m. with Pastor Chris McLaughlin and Pastor Terry Smith co-officiating. Full military honors will follow the service.

      Burial will be private in Linesville Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Linesville P.O. Box 387, Linesville, Pa 16424.

     The family would like to thank Hospice of Crawford County for the loving care and kindness they provided for Larry.
