Karen Sue Sessa

     Karen Sue Sessa, 75, of Linesville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Meadville Medical Center.

     Born June 14, 1950, she was the daughter of Edward C and Mildred (Sklenar) Rudge in Pittsburgh, PA.

     Karen graduated high school from Westinghouse Memorial High School.

     Karen was married to David Sessa on August 20, 1971; they were married for 26 years.

     Karen worked many years as the Garden Department manager at Builders Square in Braddock Hills.

     Karen was an avid photographer and enjoyed sharing her photos of nature with all. Karen enjoyed painting and making crafts. Karen also loved to bird watch, especially those that came to visit her feeder daily.

     Karen is survived by her daughter Chantelle Norwood and her husband James of Meadville, her brother Edward Rudge of Linesville and a niece, Heather Bell and her husband Michael of Linesville.

     She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, David Sessa and her sister, Melody Yurchison.

     As per Karen’s request no services will be held.

     Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, Linesville.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd, Meadville, Pa 16335.
