June B. Karns

June B. (junebug) Karns, 81, formerly of Meadville, passed away, Monday, November 21, 2011, at Rolling Fields in Conneautville, where she had resided for the last 3 years. Born June 6, 1930, in Kittanning, Pa, she was the daughter of Ivy French and E. Smith. She married Clifford L. (Chip) Karns on January 6, 1951 in Winchester, Virginia; he preceded her in death on February 24, 1998. She was a loving and devoted homemaker. In her younger years, she worked for Heinz Ketchup in Pittsburgh. ‘June was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Meadville. She enjoyed watching old westerns, listening to country music, and gardening, She loved shopping especially QVC shopping, Survivors include five childcen, Karen Knepp and her husband, Kim, of Amarillo, Texas, Randy Karns and his wife, Susan, of Sheakleyville, Lyndon Karns and his wife, Sharon, of Kansas City, Missouri, Lorne Karns and his wife, Shersi, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Ivasue Hineman and her husband, D. Barney, of Conneaut Lake; rine geandchildzen; numerous great-grandchildren; a brother; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clifford L. Karns, a sister, and two brothers. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Busial will be private in Greendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Rolling Fields, 9108 State Hwy 198, Conneautville, Pa 16406. Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville.
