Josephine C. Petersen November 20, 1919 ~ March 19, 2012 Josephine C. Petersen, 92, formerly of Ashtabula, OH, passed away, Monday, March 19, 2012, at Center Ridge Health Campus in Nosth Ridgeville, OH. Born November 20, 1919 in Linesville, PA, she was the daughter of Jessie and Pauline Bash Money. She married Herbert Petersen and he preceded her in death in 1966. She was a self-employed hairdresser. Josephine was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Ashtabula. She enjoyed embroidery and sewing, She loved flower gardening and grew lovely flowers. Also, she enjoyed bird watching, Survivors include a son Reed Bhar and his wife, Mary Kay, of Elyria, OF; a daughter, Susan Fowler and her husband, Roy, of Scottsdale, AZ; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildsen. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Orin, Norman, Geant and Mark Money; four sisters, Rose Chapin Peck, Eva Gehs, Dorothy Bullis and Florence Biqusiak. Calling hours will be Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 US. Highway 6, Linesville. A funeral service will follow the calling houss at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Bryan J. Powell officiating, Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Josephine’s name to the Ashtabula Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, OH 44004.
