John E. King, 68, of Harmonsbusg, passed away ‘Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at his residence after a courageous yearlong battle with cancer.
Born January 23, 1944 in Meadville, he was the son of Gaylen and Laura Wagner King. He married Bonnie K. Stewart on December 24, 1964 in Conneautville.
He was.a 1962 graduate of Linesville High School. After 45 years of service, he retired in 2010 as a welder from Seco/ Warwick Corporation in Meadville.
Joho enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. He belonged to the Meadville Men’s “Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Meadville, Lineville Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7842, the | inesville American Legion, Post 462, Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club, and the following; Vernon Towaship, Summit ‘Township, and the Conneaut |_ake Park Volunteer Fice Departments.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Bonnie K. King (Stewart); a daughter, Joni Dombrowski and her companion, Roy Wissler Jr, of Black Ash; a son, John King and his wife, Katherine, of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Belinda Dombrowski of Norfolk, Virginia, Gabby Dombrowski of Conneaut Lake, “Matthew a and Kayla King both of Jamestown; four sisters, Sandy ‘Weir and her In sband, Harold, of I lacmonsburg,
ley King of Harmonsburg, Yvonne Porfilio and her husband, Rick, of Harmonsburg, and Judy Graham of nee two brothers, Kenny King and his wife, Daca, of Alison Park and Dave King of Harmonsburg; and mumerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister-in-law, Nina King, and a brother-in-law, Chuck Graham.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville. The funeral and committal service will be 11 a.m. Saturday: at the funeral home with Father Steve Anderson Pastor of Our Lady Queen of Americas Roman Catholic Church in Conneaut Lake officiating, Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsbusg.
