Joanne A. Reese $ ey Bey December 8, 1934 ~ October 13, 2011 sili Joanne A. Reese, 76, of Linesville, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. Born December 8, 1934 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of Alfonse and Beatrice Wilson Ramey. She married Walter L. Reese on May 31, 1958 in Philipsbusg; he preceded her in death on March 31, 2006. She was a loving and devoted homemaker, and was a member of the Linesville United Methodist Church. Joanne was a member of the ladies ausiliasy at the Linesville American Legion Post 462. Joanne was also a member of the Help One Another Club in Linesville. She had a passion for baking and especially loved baking Christmas cookies. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards, quilting, and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Williams; two sons, Kevin Reese and Scott Reese all of Linesville; four grandchildren, Nicholas Pierce, Jesse ‘Teudhope, Dustin Teudhope and Sid Godsave; a great-grandson, Alex Reese; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter L. Reese, two granddaughters, Shannon Reese and Nicole Pierce, a sister, Virginia Voyzey, and a brother, John (Jack) Ramey. Calling houss will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 US. Highway 6, Linesville. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis E. Lawton of the Linesville and Harmonsburg United Methodist Churches officiating.
