     James (Jim) Edward Dubaniewicz, 84, passed away on August 29, 2025. He and his wife Mary Alice resided in Espyville, Pennsylvania. Mary Alice Kozlowski Dubaniewicz, his devoted wife of 38 years, preceded Jim in death a month before his recent passing.

     Jim was born In Pittsburgh, Pa in 1941. He graduated from Saint Wendelin Catholic High School in Carrick, Pa. Jim was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for LTV Corp and the US Bureau of Mines in Pittsburgh, Pa. Jim loved cooking, listening to music, and playing with his pets.

     Jim is survived by his brother, Daniel A. Dubaniewicz, who lives in Houston, Tx. Preceding Jim in death were his parents, Frank and Sophie (Novak) Dubaniewicz; and siblings: Dorothy, Evelyn, Louise, Frank, Ray, Patricia, and Tom. Jim was an uncle to 27 nephews and nieces. His memory will be cherished by his family and friends.  

     A Mass for Jim and Mary Alice will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Saint Oscar Romero Catholic Church, 317 West Pike St., Canonsburg, Pa.   

     Jim and his wife, Mary Alice will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, Pa.  Full military honors will be conducted to honor Jim's service to our country followed by a committal service.
