Irene N. Dhanenes

Irene N. Dhanenes March 30, 1920 - April 26, 2011 Irene N. Dhanenes, 91, of Linesville, died on Tuesday, April 26, at UPMC Horizon, Greenville after a brief illness. She was born on March 30, 1920, in North Braddock, PA, daughter of William and Nina Miller Kimbler. She married Leon H. Dhanenes on August 31, 1941, in Beaufort, South Carolina. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1985. Irene was a member of the Harmonsburg United Methodist Church. She was employed at Isaly’s in McKees Rocks, where she met her husband, and Isaly’s in Linesville. She enjoyed the ocean, traveling with her husband, and loved her dog, Patches. Survivors are her three children and their families: Lee (Sharon) Dhanenes, Jim (Paula) Dhanenes, and Diane (Paul) Agnew; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert) Noker, Jamie (Matt) Bowser, Clinton Dhanenes, Kelsey Agnew, Shea Agnew and Davis Agnew; and 3 great-grandchildren, Dylan Noker, Ashley Bowser and Katie Bowser. She was preceded in death by a sister, Kilda Reuter, and two brothers, Bill and Hap Kimbler. As per her request, there will be no calling hours. She will be cremated, and laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg on Friday, Apsil 29. Arrangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 US. Highway 6, Linesville.
