Helen A. Keches, 88, of Linesville, passed away, Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community in Meadville.
Born October 7, 1924 in Barberton, Ohio, she was the daugher of John and Mary Kuric Keches. She worked as an accounting cleark for Ohio Rubber in Conneautville and retired in 1987 after 29 years of service.
Helen was a member of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church in Linesville. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Quilting Ladies at the church. For many years, she helped at the Linesville Food Pantry. In her spare time, she enjoyed her flower gardens.
Survivors include six brothers, Amil Keches of White Oak, Mike Keches of Meadville, Pete Keches of Lock Haven, John Keches of Meadville, George Keches and his wife, Mary, of Forest Hills, and Harry Keches of Palos Verdes, California; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her parents and three sister-in-laws, Madlyn Keches, Marjorie Keches.
Calling hours will be Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at Royal -Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville. A funeral service vvill follow the calling hours on Thursday at 2pm at the funeral home, with Father Steve Anderson of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church in Conneaut Lake officiating. Burial will be private in St. Philip Cemetery in Linesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Helen's name to St. Philip Church, 402 S. Mercer St., Linesville, Pa 16929 or the Wesbury Benevolent Fund, 31 North Park Ave., Meadville, PA 16335.
