Geraldine Pistorius July 6, 1927 ~ August 28, 2011 Geraldine Pistorius, 84, of Espyville, passed away, peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2011, at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville. She was formerly of Pittsburgh and had resided in Espyville since 1997. Born July 6, 1927 in Broughton, Pa, she was the daughter of Walter and Ignatius Maclin Baumiller. She married Harry A. Pistorius on May 31, 1949. She was a loving and devoted homemaker. Geraldine was a member of the Espyville United Methodist Chusch. She was a member of Broughton Deum and Bugle Corps. that won the state championship in 1941. She loved animals and in her spare time enjoyed crafts and crocheting. Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years Harry A. Pistorius, 15 nieces, 11 nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings, Walter, Lillian, Charles, Kenneth, Richard, Ethel Marilyn, and James Albert. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 US. Highway 6, Linesville. ‘The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Dean Cooney of the Espyville United Methodist Chusch officiating. Busial will be in Espyville Cemetery. ‘Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Espyville United Methodist Church, 1764 Chapel Rd, Espyville, PA 16424.
