Gerald Motter

Gerald (Wimp) Motter, 73, of Saegertown, passed away Monday, November 01, 2010, at Quality Living Center in Saegertown, where he resided for the last 4 years.
Born June 4, 1937 in Knox, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Lloyd and Mildred Wagner Motter.
For over 25 years, he worked as a spinner for Avtex Fibers in Meadville.
Gerald was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed fishing and painting,
Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Motter of Hartstown and Kristy Motter of Warren, Ohio; a son, Scott Motter of Jamestown; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie Motter and Virginia Payne both of Conneaut, Ohio; a brother, Arthur Motter of Venus; a half-brother, David Motter of Shippenville; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Terry Motter, and two brothers. As per his request, cremation was chosen.
‘The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville. A memorial service will follow on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Jerry
Pyle of Arbuckle Alliance Church in Union City officiating. Burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.
