Frank Eugene (Gene) Weidler, 86, of Linesville, died, Friday, September 9, 2011, at his home with his family by his side. He had been in failing health for several years.
Born July 18, 1925 in Albion, he was the son of Donald A. Weidler and Geraldine Weidler Engle. He married Virginia L.. (Ginny) Minnigh in 1946; she survives
He graduated from Albion High School in 1943. He served our county in the United States Navy Seabees during stationed in the Philippines from 1943 until he was honorably discharged in 1946. Frank and Scotland until he retired in 1990, He was an avid hunter and fisherman,

.d, Cael, and Linda Martin and her husband, Dave; a son, David Weidler and his wife, Nicole, all of Linesville; seven grandchildren, Cheryl Blood and her husband, ‘Tim, of Conneaut, Ohio, Jason and Jarrod Myers both of Linesville, Seth Martin and his wife, Ashley, of Harrisburg, Kelly Martin of York, Kayleen and Michala Weidler of
preat-p en, Matthew and Kirsten Weidler, Dawn (Marie) Collins and Quinlynn Martin; three
brothers, Don Weidler of East Springfield, Duane Weidler of ‘Tucson, Arizona, and William Weidler and his wi Beverly, of Girard; a sister, Marjorie Haranin of Fairview; a step-father, im Engle of Albion; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Richard (Rick) Weidler.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Bueial will be private in Linesville Cemetery. Arangements are under the direction of Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville,
