Faith (Waring) Watson

Arletta “Faith” (Waring) Watson, 86, of Linesville, passed away after a short illness, on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 17, 1934, in Linesville, she was the daughter of Lester and Eva (Bean) Waring.  She married Richard C. “Dick” Watson on May 23, 1952.  He preceded her in death on June 17, 2003.

She was a 1952 graduate of Linesville High School.  Faith was employed at Woodard’s Golden Dawn in Linesville.  She was co-owner and retired from Watson’s Auto Parts in Linesville.

Faith cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed NASCAR, fishing with her husband, and her cat, Bootsie.  She also enjoyed quilting and had won many awards.  Faith loved traveling to Florida and spending time at their camp in Tidioute for over 50 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Pam (Chuck) Kennedy of Wexford, Cindy Snow of Linesville and Marsha Kintyle of Conneaut Lake; seven grandchildren, Stacy Bevan, Carlie Schmitz, Adam Watson, JoAnn Trowbridge, Charles Kennedy, Rachel Snow and Jeni Young; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Jeffrey and Steven Watson; five sisters, Ardis Schreck, Adeltha Jones and three infant sisters; two brothers, Dale and Lewis Waring; and two grandsons.

A celebration of her life will be held at noon Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Pymatuning Sportsman’s Club, 3642 W. Erie St. Ext., Linesville with Pastor Brenda Loucks officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service.  A luncheon will follow.  Please come and celebrate Faith’s life and share your memories.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville.

Faith was a two time cancer survivor, in lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
