Eugene S. (Gene) Lipinsky, 71, of Espyville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at the Meadville Medical Center.
Born December 12, 1941, in Welch, West Virginia, he was the son of Eugene and Goldie Kume Lipinsky.
He served our country in the Army as a helicopter mechanic in Germany from 1962 until 1965. Gene was a retired meat cutter. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He loved spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Lipinsky; his mother, Goldie Lipinsky of Andover, Ohio; a son, Eugene C. (Gene) Lipinsky of Townville; a daughter, Paula Fitzgerald and her husband, Hank, of Heath, Ohio; four grandchildren, Chris, Elyssa, Kaitlin and Hank III; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Lipinsky and Kathy McPherson of Andover; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and his first wife, Linda Lipinsky.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U. S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Dean Cooney of the Espyville United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Espyville Cemetery.
